Why Forge

Forge Contracting Group builds more than structures — we build confidence.

While the industry is often filled with talk instead of trust, we’re restoring what matters most: reliability, clarity, and the pride of honest work.

We don’t aim to be the cheapest — we aim to be the most transparent. Our pricing reflects real costs, fair wages, and true workmanship. We walk you through every number so you understand exactly where your investment is going. While our integrated design–build model eliminates the disconnect that often leads to delays and cost overruns. One plan. One point of contact. One team accountable for every decision.

What Guides Our Work

Clients trust us because we do what we say we’ll do, and we back our work every step of the way.

Gratitude

Every client, every opportunity, and every project is treated with appreciation.

Honesty

Transparency isn’t a buzzword — it’s our business model. We operate on an open-book philosophy so clients always know where their investment is going.

Logic

Every decision is rooted in reason, efficiency, and long-term value.

Respect

We honor relationships with clients, subcontractors, and city officials. Integrity guides our conduct at every step.

Accountability

Promises made are promises kept. Each project is led with hands-on oversight and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.

Who Forged Us

Eric Capranica

Eric brings a lifetime of hands-on construction experience to Forge Contracting Group. Raised in a construction family in Springfield, Illinois, he started working in the trades right out of high school while attending ASU for construction engineering. Those early years were spent learning the work from the ground up across residential remodeling and custom home projects, with real training in the trades that make a build solid. At 24, Eric stepped into the role of residential general superintendent for a small track home builder, and by 27 he earned his general contractor’s license. He’s been self-employed ever since, leading projects with steady oversight, practical problem-solving, and a commitment to doing it right the first time.

When he’s not on a jobsite, Eric is an avid hunter and fisherman, and he spends as much time as he can with his wife and family.
