Custom Home Building + Full Home Remodels
At Forge Contracting Group, we don’t just take on projects; we take on promises — to build with care, lead with integrity, and deliver results that stand the test of time.
We’re builders first — problem solvers who take pride in doing things the right way. Clients don’t come to us for flash; they come for follow-through.
Custom New Home Building
Residential Home Building
A custom home is more than a structure — it’s a future foundation, a place shaped by intention and built with purpose. Our design–build process keeps everything under one roof, from drawings and permitting to engineering and construction, giving you a clear path from concept to completion.
What You Can Expect
- Direct communication with the builder — no middlemen, no missteps.
- A vertically integrated process that eliminates delays and guesswork.
- Open-book budgeting so you see exactly where your investment goes.
- Hands-on leadership from the first drawing to the final walkthrough.
- Craftsmanship that endures, not shortcuts that fade.
We guide you through every decision with practical expertise, steady communication, and a commitment to building something worthy of your vision — and worthy of our name.
Because honest work still matters. And when we say it’ll get done, it gets done — and it gets done right.
Full Home Remodeling
Whole-Home Remodels + Additions
A full renovation is a chance to reimagine your home — to strengthen what’s there, rebuild what’s needed, and create a space that finally works for the way you live. At Forge, every area of the home is evaluated and improved—from finishes and layouts to reframing interior spaces and adding square footage when needed.
Our Renovation Approach
- Clear expectations and steady communication from day one.
- Integrated design–build services for smoother planning and quicker approvals.
- Quality-driven construction focused on longevity, safety, and precision.
- Daily involvement from our leadership, not a rotating cast of subcontractors.
- A respectful, organized, and predictable jobsite.
We believe good construction isn’t about how fast you can build — it’s about how well you stand behind what you build. We treat every renovation like it’s our own, because every detail reflects the pride we take in the work.

Discovery Meeting

Goals, Budget, Timeline
We start by getting aligned on the core project details: ideas, approximate square footage, design direction, expected finish level, budget, and timeline. We also talk ballpark costs upfront, including how fees work, so there are no surprises later. If you already own a property, we review it together. If you don’t, we can help you evaluate and secure a lot that fits the project.
Preliminary Design
Preliminary Design
Design + Early Budget Review
Next, we develop a preliminary floor plan and elevation concept that matches your goals and expected budget. In the follow-up meeting, we review plans together and make real-time changes so we leave with a close, shared understanding of what you want to build. At the same time, we walk through a preliminary open-book budget so you know what the project is shaping up to cost—before moving toward contract.
Contract + Development Planning
Contract + Development Planning
Begin the Official Plan Set
Once you decide to move forward, we execute the contract and collect a deposit to begin the official plan set used for permitting and construction. During this phase, we strongly recommend involving an interior designer (yours or one of ours) early—because it makes decisions smoother and construction less stressful. You’ll have multiple review points to refine and approve the plans before anything is submitted.
Permits + Selections + Hard Bids
Permits + Selections + Hard Bids
Firm Up the Numbers
After plan approval, we submit for permits. This phase can take 2–3 months (or longer) depending on the municipality. While permits are in motion, we push hard on finish selections—the more decisions made up front, the smoother the build. We also send final plans to our subcontractor group for hard bids to firm up real costs before construction begins, with allowances and pricing aligned to your finish level.

Schedule-Driven, Communication-First
When permits are approved, we build. If the upfront planning and selections are done right, construction becomes far more predictable and far less stressful. You’ll receive ongoing schedule updates and have direct access for questions and input throughout the process.

Closeout + Ongoing Support
We finish with the goal you had from day one: a space that matches the plan, the budget intent, and the look you signed up for. And after completion, we stay available for questions and service items—because the relationship doesn’t end at handoff.
